Gainwell is seeking a seasoned Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile project delivery across healthcare technology initiatives. This role focuses on managing medium-sized project teams, driving quality and timeliness, and aligning execution with strategic program goals. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Agile methodologies, strong leadership, and a passion for improving healthcare outcomes for vulnerable communities.
Your role in our mission
- Lead one or more Agile teams and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (Iteration planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives).
- Manage project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to track metrics and recommend improvements.
- Prepare and manage Statements of Work (SOW) and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Mentor junior team members and promote Agile maturity.
- Identify and mitigate risks through proactive reporting and updates.
- Translate program objectives into actionable milestones.
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of project management experience; 3+ years in Medicaid/Medicare preferred.
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proficiency in modern project management tools such as Azure DevOps, and/or MS Project.
- Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and SAFe frameworks.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Technology Tool Stack:
- Azure DevOps, MS Project, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, Power BI
