Your role in our mission

Help create the power in Gainwell’s processes as we develop purpose-built technologies and solutions that yield better health and human services outcomes.

  • The Provider Enrollment will be responsible for supporting provider enrollment/screening into the Rhode Island Medicaid program.
  • Primary responsibilities include reviewing and processing Medicaid, and provider enrollment applications according to Medicaid-approved enrollment guidelines, ACA, and other federal requirements and procedures. 
  • Update and maintain accurate provider files, including documenting information such as license, Social Security Numbers, Tax ID numbers, and any other changes to the provider file. 
  • Respond to written correspondence received from providers relating to enrollment issues as needed. 
  • Ensure all departmental and Medicaid quality and quantity standards are met. 
  • Uphold customer confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • The role will require knowledge of Windows-based programs and a familiarity with basic office equipment. 
  • Will be working with both Gainwell Technologies and State liaison each day.    

What we're looking for

  • Customer service experience 
  • Ability to perform extensive research independently 
  • Ability to follow written policies, procedures and guidelines, and give feedback to leadership. 
  • Self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills. 
  • Ability to read and interpret basic to moderately complex documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and government/healthcare guidelines.

The pay range for this position is $31,200 - $44,500 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
