Summary

The Provider Services Unit Lead - Remote position provides operational leadership and expert support to the Help Desk team. This role involves overseeing healthcare and insurance consultancy, resolving escalated provider issues, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. The Lead fosters team development and enhances overall service delivery in a high-volume call center environment.

Your role in our mission

  • Provide operational leadership to ensure effective service delivery and resolution of complex issues.
  • Work efficiently in a high-volume call center, maintaining professionalism and accuracy.
  • Assist callers with coverage-related questions, policy interpretation, and claims processing accuracy.
  • Conduct research and follow up to resolve disputed claims promptly.
  • Document calls clearly and consistently while keeping resource information updated.
  • Mentor team members, sharing knowledge to enhance individual and team performance.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of customer contact operations experience in healthcare, healthcare technology, or Medicaid [MMIS]-related fields.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and software tools like CxOne, Verint, and Avaya.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills for professional client interactions.
  • Ability to navigate multiple screens efficiently while typing and talking simultaneously.
  • Understanding of HIPAA requirements and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

The pay range for this position is $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
