Summary

We are seeking to hire a Quality Manager to join our collaborative Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) team. The Quality Manager will report to the MMIS Director and serve as a member of the MMIS Leadership Team.

Client is state Medicaid entity that directly touch the lives of some of our most vulnerable children, youth, adults, individuals with disabilities and elders. It provides access to medical and behavioral health care, substance misuse treatment, long term services and support, and nutritional and financial benefits to those with low incomes.

The Quality Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring MMIS products, services, and processes meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Responsibilities include inspections, identifying production, process, or product issues, and presenting quality control solutions. Developing and implementing quality assurance procedures and standards. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of Quality Management processes and standards in IT.

Your role in our mission

  • Establish clear quality procedures and standards and set measurable quality objectives that align with MMIS goals
  • Establish an MMIS Quality Management Systems across MMIS and processes
  • Establish Annual Performance Audits and Inspections to ensure compliance with QMS. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and quality issues
  • Establish an MMIS Quality Performance Reporting on the performance of the QMS  
  • Establish QMS operational procedure to collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and issues
  • Establish an MMIS customer satisfaction continues feedback method to address complaints and incorporating customer feedback into quality improvement initiatives
  • Plan, monitor, test and inspect of operational controls to validate quality controls and standards meet MMIS needs
  • Prepare reports to communicate outcomes of quality activities
  • Manage risk-based and process-based audits
  • Ensure that MMIS meet federal, state, and industry quality standards
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding quality issues and improvements
  • Leverage MMIS Commonwealth MS SharePoint to store all procedures, standards, audits, and reports

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Health Management, Information Systems or relevant field or higher education
  • Excellent communication, organization, leadership abilities, and understanding of data analysis
  • Proven prior Quality Manager experience
  • Results-driven and detail oriented
  • Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality inspections
  • Certification of Quality Control, e.g., ISO 9000 etc. is a plus

What you should expect in this role

  • This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
  • Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).
  • Health (medical, dental, vision) benefits start on day 1 of employment.

  • New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.
  • Company provided computer for work use.
  • For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload.  Greater speeds will of course provide better performance.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.

The pay range for this position is $78,800.00 - $112,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
