Summary
The RFP Content Manager is responsible for developing, curating, and maintaining a high-quality content library to support Medicaid-related RFP responses. This individual contributor role ensures that proposal teams have access to accurate, compliant, and compelling content (including corporate qualifications and key statistics) that aligns with state and federal procurement requirements. The position also manages client references for inclusion in proposals. The ideal candidate has experience managing AI-powered content libraries and understands how to leverage these tools to streamline proposal development and improve response quality.
Your role in our mission
- Manage and maintain a centralized content library for all service lines for RFP responses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and relevance.
- Develop, implement, and manage processes for content updates and version control.
- Leverage and enhance AI-powered tools to automate content retrieval and improve proposal efficiency.
- Collaborate with proposal team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify, update, and validate reusable content.
- Ensure content is current and aligns with RFx guidelines and Gainwell-specific procurement and brand requirements.
- Tag and categorize content for easy retrieval and integration into proposal automation platforms.
- Train proposal staff on best practices for using AI content tools and maintaining content quality.
- Support proposal teams by providing tailored content packages for specific RFPs.
- Maintain and validate client references for proposals.
- Ensure references meet RFP requirements (e.g., recent projects, relevant experience).
- Coordinating with delivery teams to gather accurate reference data.
- Track reference usage and compliance across multiple bids.
- Maintain accurate records of corporate qualifications, certifications, awards, and key statistics.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Health, Business, or related field (master's preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in proposal content management or use, preferably in healthcare IT or public programs such as Medicaid.
- Experience with AI-powered content libraries.
- Excellent writing, editing, and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and proposal tools (e.g., SharePoint, AI Content Library, Adobe Acrobat).
- Familiarity with metadata tagging, content governance, and version control best practices.
- Strong understanding of Medicaid programs, CMS guidelines, and state procurement processes is a plus.
- APMP certification is a plus.

The pay range for this position is $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
