Your role in our mission

  • Serves as a key contributor on a leveraged team supporting the configuration, development, testing, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of the drug rebate solution for state clients. Acts as a subject matter expert, providing drug rebate and business process expertise to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partners cross-functionally across the pharmacy enterprise—including Point of Sale, Claims, Encounter, Finance, data integration and conversion, reporting and interface teams, IT, infrastructure, leadership, and operations—to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
  • Collaborates with product development teams and senior designers to define accurate, business-aligned design requirements, recommending alternative solutions where appropriate. Translates business needs into functional specifications and detailed application designs, leveraging industry standards, development methodologies, and testing best practices.
  • Develops and maintains technical documentation, contributes to and oversees test planning, and supports integration and deployment activities. Facilitates business process work sessions, project meetings, and joint application development sessions to ensure clear communication of design decisions.
  • Works closely with software developers to articulate application design, supports feasibility and cost analysis, and ensures solutions meet client and organizational needs.

 

What we're looking for

  • 8 or more years of experience working with healthcare applications and data, Medicaid drug rebate experience preferred
  • 8 or more years of experience with RDBMS databases such as SQL Server and Oracle
  • Experience with software development tools, source code repositories such as Azure Dev Ops and understanding of modern software design, development methodologies, and release management
  • Experience with Extract, Transform, and Load processes, SSIS Package experience preferred
  • Experience with implementing and supporting applications built on low code platforms, USoft preferred
  • Experience with Medicaid Design, Development, and Implementation (DDI), Change Requests, and solution enhancement projects

  • Minimal Travel Required – Occasional travel opportunities (0-10%).

The pay range for this position is $95,100.00 - $135,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
