Summary

Gainwell is currently seeking a Registered Nurse licensed in the state of Alabama who is also a Certified Professional Coder (CPC), or actively working toward CPC certification (must be certified within 12 months of employment). This is a critical role that combines clinical expertise with claims‑processing accuracy.

Job Functions

Process complex claims that suspend for manual review.
Develop and deliver client reports on a weekly and monthly basis to meet contractual requirements.
Review and process consent forms to approve or deny claims.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

What we're looking for

Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Alabama.
Certified Professional Coder or actively working toward CPC certification within the first 12 months of employment.
Ability to work the hours necessary to meet all deadlines and objectives.
Willingness to assist other areas of the department and account as needed.
Ability to analyze reports and identify trends that may indicate issues with claims processing.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to present information clearly and concisely.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
Ability to multi‑task and handle multiple priorities.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to memorize and retain information.

What you should expect in this role

Candidate must be a resident of the state of Alabama
Monday–Friday work schedule
On‑site in the Alabama office five days a week
No travel required

This position is for pipeline purposes, and we welcome applications on an ongoing basis.

The pay range for this position is $48,300.00 - $69,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
