Summary

The Senior Assistant Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate entry and reconciliation of Medicaid Drug Rebate payments at our Austin, TX office. This role requires a strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel to track, organize, and manage data efficiently. The Senior Assistant Data Entry Clerk will follow established procedures to ensure quality and productivity standards are met and will support departmental initiatives to improve overall efficiency. This is an onsite position based at our office located at 8911 N Capital of Texas Highway, Building 3, Suite 3210, Austin, TX 78759.

Your role in our mission

  • Accurately post and reconcile Medicaid Drug Rebate payments using systems such as PRIMS and Process Manager within the required time frames.
  • Maintain and update weekly deposit tracking spreadsheets, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting.
  • Identify, index, and correct historical payment data as necessary.
  • Manage and organize deposit records for all electronic fund transfer (EFT) payments from drug manufacturers.
  • Interact professionally with internal and external clients to achieve departmental goals.
  • Support special projects and initiatives to improve department processes and workflows.

What we're looking for

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data tracking, organization, and reconciliation.
  • Experience with PRIMS, Process Manager, and other data entry systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and efficiency in data entry tasks.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally within the team and with external contacts.
  • 10-key proficiency, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, troubleshoot issues, and prioritize responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with Adobe or Nitro for editing digital documents is preferred.

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
