Your role in our mission

  • Designs and develops end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions using MS BI tool suite (SQL Server, SSAS, SSIS, Power BI)
  • Serve as technical lead in the functional area providing daily oversight to developers
  • Leads and assists functional area SQL Server migration from on-prem to AWS cloud deployment
  • Builds and deploys Power BI dashboards to provide healthcare operational reporting
  • Builds Power BI server workspaces, deploys apps to clients, administers workspace security
  • Administers Power BI gateway connections and software updates
  • Assists with user provisioning and administration of Azure AD tenant
  • Participates in design and delivery of BI solutions in multi-cloud environment (e.g., Azure, AWS)
  • Performs complicated analyses to extract learnings and drive insights to improve BI reporting
  • Performs technical walk-throughs of coded solutions to the functional areas
  • Develop, drive, and ensure adherence to BI standards for the functional area
  • Analyze healthcare business requirements to determine gaps and recommend BI solutions
  • Understand, articulate, and convert business requirements into technical solutions
  • Mentor junior level BI developers
  • Helps to manage the portfolio of applications in the designated functional area
  • Tracks, reports, and acts on appropriate metrics for IT efforts across the portfolio
  • Works with key business leaders to ensure alignment of business and technology
  • Acts as an internal consultant, advocate, mentor and change agent

What we're looking for

  • 8+ years of experience building and deploying BI solutions with the Microsoft tool stack
  • Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring a technical development team, providing daily guidance on ETL framework design, and directing team technical priorities and tasks
  • Demonstrated experience leveraging ETL frameworks (SSIS, Databricks) to develop scalable solutions. Design and develop ETL pipelines, configuration files, stored procedures, tables, views, and functions
  • Senior level understanding of warehousing architectures including ETL design, staging, transformations, delta/change data capture, star-schemas, cubes, and history loading
  • Current and advanced knowledge of Power BI Premium – publish and deploy to workspaces, app publication to external clients, Gateway administration
  • Current knowledge of cloud-managed services for data warehousing/analytics in Microsoft Azure and AWS

The pay range for this position is $86,800.00 - $124,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
