Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.

Demonstrating specific and in-depth knowledge of ANSI X12 transactions to support accurate and efficient data exchange.

Applying expertise in WEDI SNIP edits to ensure compliance and data integrity.

Effectively working within a trouble ticket application to resolve trading partner questions and issues promptly.

Being self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Exhibiting excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear and professional interactions.

Building and maintaining positive, effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers, and customers.

Maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Troubleshooting EDI files and issues with precision and efficiency.

Leveraging analytical and creative problem-solving skills to address complex challenges.
What we're looking for
- 6 or more years of experience in an Healthcare EDI Business Analyst position with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience
- Must possess a strong proven, hands-on experience and understanding of the Healthcare EDI X12N transactions formats that govern healthcare Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- In depth knowledge of and experience with HIPAA/EDI X12 5010 healthcare-related transactions including 270-271, 276-277,277CA,277U, 278, 820, 834, 835, 837, 999, 824, and 277CA including NCPDP D.0
- Expert with commonly used EDI concepts, practices, and procedures within a healthcare field
- Medicaid domain knowledge
- Knowledge of industry standard health data code sets such as ICD-9/ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS, revenue codes
- 4 or more years of experience providing technical support for ANSI X12 trading partners
- Experience with ITXA or EDIFECS Suite is a plus.

- Ability to work 8a-5p eastern time.

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
