Your role in our mission
- Plans, designs and recommended business processes to improve and support business activities.
- Analyzes and documents client's business requirements and processes and communicates these requirements by constructing conceptual data and process models, including data dictionaries and volume estimates from organization.
- Creates test scenarios and develops test plans to be used in testing the business applications in order to verify that client requirements are incorporated into the system design. Assists in analyzing testing results throughout the project.
- Performs manual testing from a User Acceptance Testing (UAT) perspective, partnering with business stakeholders to validate end-to-end workflows and obtain sign-off.
- Creates mock test data and coordinates test data setup; validates that functional and non-functional requirements are met (e.g., data accuracy, performance, and completeness) through hands-on verification.
- Provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet client needs and develops business specifications to support these modifications.
- Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions.
- Assists in coordinating business analyst tasks on information technology projects and provide support to other team members.
- Assists in analyzing testing results in all phases.
- Supports data archival and retention requirements by documenting archival use cases, defining data selection/retention criteria, validating archive data completeness, and coordinating archive/retrieval testing with technical teams.
- Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried out through the entire project.
- Assists in providing time estimates for project related tasks.
- Assists with developing the methods and procedures required to identify whether current business goals and objectives meet organizational needs.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; a degree in business administration, information systems, or a related field is preferred
- Six or more years of Business Analysis experience within US Healthcare. MMIS work experience (Preferrable)

Experience working at the intersection of information technology and functional business groups, including business process analysis and re-engineering, as well as familiarity with computer programming concepts and basic programming languages

Strong SQL experience (including writing complex queries, joins, and data validation) and working knowledge of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, and other RDBMS platforms to support analysis, reconciliation, and reporting
- AWS cloud experience, including familiarity with cloud-based data and application services and common operational concepts.
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to support BA and QA activities (e.g., drafting user stories, refining acceptance criteria, and creating test scenarios) using tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT/Enterprise chat assistants, and similar generative AI platforms.
- Hands-on testing experience, including creating and executing test cases, performing defect triage, and validating fixes in collaboration with development teams.

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
