Summary
Reporting to the Senior Vice President and General Manager of Population Health Management (PHM), this leader will drive growth with established and new clients and provide strategic guidance to projects/accounts by identifying and meeting evolving client needs. The primary responsibility for this leader will be to oversee the expansion of the PHM service line through partnership agreements and proposal development to enable an end-to-end capability that encompasses solutions and tools at the point of care. This includes, but is not limited to service providers in the areas of care management, closed loop referrals, value based care model deployment, workforce training and development and member engagement. By working collaboratively with partners and leaders across Gainwell, this leader will shape, refine and prepare to grow and deliver on the portfolio that comprises the PHM service line.
Your role in our mission
- Understand the PHM landscape, including emerging priorities for CMS such as rural health transformation, behavioral and maternal health and total cost of care / value based care models and establish new partnerships and evolve existing to enhance Gainwell’s offerings.
- Lead work with state partners as well as their stakeholders such as provider and hospital associations and other vendors serving in population health management.
- Serve as a key leader on the PHM team in overseeing proposal development and RFP responses.
- Provide research and thought partnership to Gainwell leadership and clients to enhance understanding of PHM, with an emphasis on clinical outcomes.
- Serve as one of the solution leads for rural health transformation proposals and pitches.
- Lead demos and, in collaboration with the product team, refine product tiering and business architecture based on evolving partnerships.
- Oversee clinical insight and cost of care analytics reviews to support business development
- Serve as a clinical advisor on the solution architecture and team structure for new accounts
- Provide internal consulting services as needed with emerging accounts – for example serving in an interim leadership role while setting up the project
What we're looking for
- Minimum 8 years in health care in an innovation or clinical operations role
- Experience with proposal development and consultative sales
- Experience with data literacy, analytics and turning data into insights
- High comfort level with ambiguity and rapid change
- Experience in population health or managed care including in a clinical role
- Exceptional communication skills
What you should expect in this role
- Remote work, with willingness to travel to conferences and client sites as needed (approx. 3-4 days per month)

The pay range for this position is $140,100.00 - $200,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
