Summary

Gainwell Technologies is seeking a Senior Drug Rebate Analyst to review Medicaid drug rebate payments, resolve disputes with manufacturers, and ensure accurate reimbursement. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of rebate processes, and the ability to mentor others as a subject matter expert.

Your role in our mission

  • Review Medicaid drug rebate payments, research disputed claims, and resolve outstanding balances.

  • Negotiate directly with drug manufacturers to resolve disputes fairly and accurately.

  • Provide training and mentorship to new hires while serving as a subject matter expert.

  • Assist with CMS reporting, invoicing, and claim file quality validation.

  • Support leadership by monitoring workflows, tracking productivity, and prioritizing high-impact disputes.

What we're looking for

  • Preferred: 5–10 years of experience with Medicaid drug rebates, pharmacy/medical claims processing, or medical billing.

  • Hands-on experience with rebate systems such as PRIMS, SSRS Reports, or Process Manager.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and PDF editing tools (Adobe, Nitro Pro, etc.).

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to accuracy.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, or equivalent work experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $44,800 - $64,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
