Summary

We are seeking a Senior Manager to lead technical service delivery and platform transformation for Third-Party Liability (TPL) and Prior Authorization (PA) systems. This role will drive engineering delivery, automation, and platform modernization to improve scalability, performance, and business outcomes.

Your role in our mission

  • Own end-to-end delivery of TPL and PA platforms, ensuring high performance, reliability, and SLA adherence
  • Lead engineering teams (on/offshore) for enhancements, releases, and defect resolution
  • Drive architecture, integration (APIs, FHIR/HL7), and workflow/rules engine solutions
  • Implement automation and AI/ML capabilities (document processing, auto-decisioning, data matching)
  • Oversee DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release governance
  • Ensure compliance, security, and audit readiness
  • Partner with product, operations, and clients to align technical solutions with business needs
  • Build capabilities in modern engineering practices (microservices, cloud, AI integration).
  • Drive accountability, technical excellence, and continuous improvement culture.

What we're looking for

  • Ten (10) or more years in technical delivery/engineering, with healthcare domain experience
  • Experience with Medicaid/Medicare systems and regulatory environments
  • Experience with microservices, cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), APIs, and workflow engines
  • Exposure to AI/ML, automation, and data integration (FHIR/HL7)
  • PMP and/or ITIL certification (Preferred but not required)

What you should expect in this role

  • This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
  • Monday through Friday work schedule (40 hours per week).

  • New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.
  • Company provided computer for work use.
  • For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload.  Greater speeds will of course provide better performance.
  • The use of AI during interviews is prohibited.
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired.

The pay range for this position is $115,900 - $165,600 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
