Your role in our mission
- Define and execute the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) and Decision Support Systems (DSS) to support Medicaid and enterprise healthcare data needs, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Align product initiatives with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and customer needs to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical specifications for EDW and DSS solutions.
- Work closely with IT, analytics, and compliance teams to establish priorities, manage timelines, and ensure seamless execution of data initiatives.
- Drive the product roadmap, ensuring scalability, security, and performance of EDW and DSS while maintaining adherence to HIPAA and Medicaid data standards.
- Partner with external clients and internal teams to identify, prioritize, and address enterprise data challenges, focusing on data accuracy, governance, and accessibility.
- Act as the bridge between engineering, data science, and healthcare stakeholders to ensure alignment of technical capabilities with business needs.
- Maintain and refine a product backlog, prioritizing high-impact features that enhance data integrity, usability, and reporting capabilities.
- Work with technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases of EDW and DSS enhancements, addressing evolving market and compliance requirements.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and optimize product performance over time.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive solutions, and emerging technologies in data warehousing and analytics to drive innovation and continuous improvement.
- Identify opportunities to enhance and differentiate EDW and DSS offerings, ensuring they meet evolving healthcare data management demands.
- Collaborate with training and support teams to develop documentation, user guides, and training materials for product adoption and best practices.
- Gather and analyze user feedback, translating insights into actionable product enhancements and roadmap updates.
- Work within Agile frameworks, ensuring clear and structured product requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios in Microsoft ADO.
- Regularly engage with engineering teams to refine backlog, guide sprint planning, and oversee product demonstrations.
- Ensure EDW and DSS solutions are robust, scalable, and aligned with enterprise data strategies, optimizing data processing, integration, and reporting capabilities.
- Leverage an analytical and strategic mindset to drive data governance, security, and interoperability in enterprise healthcare environments.
What we're looking for
- 10+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in data warehousing and decision support, preferably within healthcare and Medicaid solutions.
- Experience with healthcare data (e.g., claims, EHR, Medicaid/Medicare) and regulatory standards like HIPAA, T-MSIS, HL7, FHIR, and CDA.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing technologies, SQL, data modeling, ETL processes, MDM, EMPI, BI tools, data governance, and analytics.
- Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, backlog prioritization, Agile development, and collaboration with engineering, analytics, and compliance teams.
- Preferred certifications in data management (DAMA, CDMP) or Agile (CSPO, SAFe POPM) and familiarity with MDM tools (Informatica MDM, Reltio, Verato) and cloud-based data platforms.

The pay range for this position is $108,500.00 - $155,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
