Your role in our mission
Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.
- Possess and develop expertise in housing policy and housing service delivery to inform the design of new housing services and support the creation of more housing expertise within DMAHS.
- Direct the development of housing services expertise in contracted partners, including the Managed Care Organizations (MCO) and ensure their staffing model supports or complements other housing service programs across NJ government.
- Manage inter-agency cooperation to ensure new DMAHS housing services complement other NJ state government housing efforts. Build relationships with partner Departments, Divisions and offices to support these duties.
- Draft needed protocols and implementation design documents for the new Housing Support Services benefit in the 1115 Comprehensive Demonstration for leadership review and submission to CMS.
- Develop and run a comprehensive stakeholder process to inform and guide the design and implementation of DMAHS' new housing services.
- Analyze NJ's 1115 Comprehensive Demonstration Waiver Special Terms and Conditions with particular attention to the new Health Related Social Needs framework and manage DMAHS compliance with those provisions through submissions to CMS.
- Administrative tasks related to the above duties.
What we're looking for
- 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience.
- Managed Care Experience preferred
- Experience with CMS - Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services as well as DMAHS - Division of Medical Assistance and Health Services
- Knowledge of computer programming concepts such as configuration, development and batch processing
- Advanced knowledge in analytical software such as Microsoft Excel or SQL and other requirement-mapping tools such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools
- Strong client communication skills translating client needs to actionable objectives
- Strong analytical and business process re-engineering skills
- Strong executive presence and communication skills to deliver messages to business leaders, clients and technical personnel
- A leader who motivates others to action and communicates key technical ideas in a digestible way

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
