As a Senior Professional Business Analyst at Gainwell, you can contribute your skills as we harness the power of technology to help our clients improve the health and well-being of the members they serve — a community’s most vulnerable. Works with ITO to schedule and manage monthly patching and other required initiatives.
Your role in our mission
Work with the Information Technology Leader in researching solutions, defining requirements, coordinating ITO activities to support the migration of Gainwell’s Data Center.
- Manage the delivery of monthly patch cycles for the various for technology platforms.
- Work with the System Engineers and Architects to research and propose new solutions for projects and problems.
- Work with the Project Manager and PMO to build out schedules and resource requirements for major efforts.
- Work with the ITO staff to address project risks and issues.
- Works with client and ITO leaders to respond to issues and create a response plan for potential and emerging technology disruptions.
- Supports developing new business proposals and introduces new technology to enhance business solutions.
What we're looking for
- 6 or more years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst position with 3 or more years of Medicaid and Medicare experience preferred
- Five or more years of support services, project, or program experience.
- A good understanding of servers, networks, and related hardware.
- A solid understanding of software patching.
- Ability to work with Architects to research various technologies and propose solutions to issues.
- Ability to support the Project Manager in coordinating resources and timing of solutions.
- Willingness to work off cycle hours to support implementations or patching cycles.
- Ability to capture issues and work with others to bring to resolution.
- Experience working with the technology industry.
- Experience working with company products and operating systems.
Other Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare industry experience preferred but not required
- Experience delivering government services contracts preferred but not required
- Project management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, Interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
- Leadership and organizational skills, Communication skills
- Ability to manage to contracts and budgets
- Ability to work in a team environment

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $95,490 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
