Summary
The Senior Professional Business Continuity Services Partner coordinates and establishes business continuity programs and business resumption planning across mainframes and small to medium sized client server platforms to ensure business continuity.
Your role in our mission
- Interfaces with clients, vendors and company personnel to establish and monitor business continuity plans and procedures for small to medium sized projects.
- Coordinates and monitors simulation testing for smaller platforms and assists in planning and organizing recovery tests. Prepares pre-test objectives and post-test reports for clients and operations management personnel.
- Investigates, plans, documents, implements and maintains business continuity plans to meet customer needs.
- Advises and formulates crisis management teams to ensure that business continuity plans are implemented consistently across small to medium sized projects.
- Develops awareness incentives to ensure that clients are of aware of the company business continuity services as well as the policies and procedures associated with said services.
- Assists in coordinating business recovery contracts and controlling annual expenditures related to business continuity contracts.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems or related field preferred
- Six or more years of experience in disaster planning and business recovery
- Experience working with information technology, mainframe and client server platforms, and with company business recovery offerings and procedures
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Good leadership skills to assist in recovery efforts
What you should expect in this role
- Willingness to travel once per year
- This is a full-time permanent regular salaried (W-2) employee position.
- Monday through Friday work schedule
- May require evening or weekend work

- New employees are eligible to take advantage of flexible vacation policy after ninety (90) calendar days of employment. Any exception requires manager approval prior to employee's Gainwell start date.

- For all hybrid and remote positions employees' Broadband Internet connections, should have a minimum speed of 24MBS download and 8 MBS upload. Greater speeds will of course provide better performance.
- Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation if hired. The use of AI during interviews is prohibited.

The pay range for this position is $67,800.00 - $96,900.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
