The position supports required analytics, report and dashboard development, data integration and transformation processes crucial to the function of the Gainwell Technologies Pharmacy COE. Serves as a data analyst performing research and requirement analysis, creation and design of data specifications, and presents findings to team members, leadership, clients, and vendors. Determines best practices and provides suggestions on how to improve current practices.
Your role in our mission
- Work closely with Pharmacy SMEs and technical support teams to deliver comprehensive reporting solutions that enable ongoing gathering of insights and help to advance Gainwell’s competitive position in the industry.
- Build complex data sets from multiple data sources and write complex queries using multiple scripting languages (e.g., SQL, DAX).
- Use data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI) to share ongoing insights.
- Present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Function as a subject matter expert on business intelligence tools.
- Participate in engagements with key business stakeholders on business opportunities.
- Be an evangelist driving wider adoption of analytics across the enterprise.
- Perform analysis to measure the impact of Pharmacy COE initiatives.
- Lead POC projects and deliver innovative technical solutions to solve problems and improve business outcomes.
- Design, develop, test, validate, and deploy comprehensive reporting solutions.
What we're looking for
- Demonstrated knowledge of drug data file elements published by drug compendia/databases. Examples are, but not limited to ICD, Medi-span, First Data Bank (FDB).
- Familiarity with Pharmacy and non-Pharmacy Medicaid claims processing data.
- Previous work experience creating analytic solutions that allow for analyzing and monitoring of Pharmacy operations and compliance with Federal and State requirements.
- Ability to create meaningful data visualizations along with reports leveraging a variety of business intelligence tools.
- Proficient in SQL, data models, data element dictionary and schema, with the ability perform technical and business data analysis.

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
