Your role in our mission
Essential Job Functions
- Develops and implements security plans, procedures and documentation, ensuring compliance with program requirements, policies, procedures and processes which may include personnel, physical, communications (COMSEC), emissions (EMSEC) and administrative security systems and procedures.
- Leads security personnel team in monitoring and maintaining security programs to ensure compliance with client security procedures.
- Oversees maintenance of current set of valid users, issuing and recalling certificates and secure identifications to and from individual users and defining groups. Ensures passwords are reset as needed to maintain appropriate access control. Coordinates visitor control processes to ensure that only authorized personnel are granted access to security information including badge requirements.
- Coordinates and monitors sensitive aspects of security programs to ensure compliance with client, government and/or company security policies and procedures. Evaluates security program audits to ensure adherence to customer specific and government or regulatory requirements.
- Investigates or oversees the investigation and documentation of losses and security violations and recommends corrective actions. Implements approved course of action as appropriate. Provides summaries for management review.
- Provides interface with internal and external customer base. Responds to queries and requests. Supports customer reviews of security process and products. Develops responses to audit deficiencies. Provides summaries for management review.
- Gathers information regarding client security needs and requirements to assist in designing and implementing comprehensive security strategies.
- Develops, coordinates and may conduct security education programs to assist in educating personnel about security systems and the importance of security. Evaluates training and recommends improvements.
- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business management, criminal justice or related field preferred
- Six or more years of experience in security policies and procedures, information systems security or computer operations
- Experience working with company software and hardware products
- Experience working with domain structures, user authentication and digital signatures
- Experience working with industrial and/or National Security Information security systems and implementation procedures
- Possess a security clearance as required by contract or government regulations (i.e. at the Secret level and/or certified information security systems professional (CISSP) certification)

- Strong interpersonal skills to interact and strategize with clients
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members, customers, management and support personnel
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills for design, creation and testing of security systems
- Leadership skills to guide and mentor the work of less experienced personnel
- Good research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to travel

The pay range for this position is $68,000.00 - $97,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
