Summary
As a Senior Programmer Analyst (UNIX/LINUX/C/ORACLE) at Gainwell, you will be a part of an innovative healthcare technology company with a mission to serve the healthcare needs of our communities. You will use your programming and analytical skills to drive the development of healthcare administration products used, and relied upon, by millions of patients. Your role in our mission

- Code, test, debug, implement and document moderately complex programs
- Analyze, design and write specs and reqs from which we develop and code programs
- Evaluate existing systems and programs; assist project the manager in assigning tasks and work closely with a team
- Liaise with clients and management to provide technical consulting on complex programming projects, validate program requirements and resolve issues that arise
- Develop test plans and participate in QA activities such as coding reviews
- Participate as a member of a development team and lead a small sub-team of developers as needed
- Design system components and delegate responsibilities to team members
What we're looking for
- 6+ years of programming experience with C language and Oracle Pro*C on UNIX and/or Linux.
- Any experience with Healthcare and Medicaid/Medicare/Commercial claims systems is highly preferred.
- Experience with design principles and the end-to-end software development life cycle (analysis, problem-solving, design, creation, troubleshooting, testing).
- Strong knowledge of batch processing concepts and techniques, such as scheduling, monitoring, logging, error handling, etc.

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $90,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
