Your role in our mission

  • Creates and implements project definitions, objectives, schedules, and budgets for multiple medium to large projects.
  • Prepares detailed statement of work and business design documents with input and approval from stakeholders.
  • Participates in delivery assurance reviews to ensure adherence to project management policies and procedures.
  • Determines the staffing need and resource assignments for projects. 
  • Establishes deadlines, assignments, and objectives with project team members. Participates in project work as applicable.
  • Addresses performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input throughout the duration of the project.
  • Manages costs, schedules, and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Ensures meeting schedule and budget.
  • Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies project risks and issues. Recommends and implements risk mitigation and issue resolution as approved by stakeholders.
  • Manages project scope with team members and stakeholders which may involve changes to technical requirements, business requirements, and schedule.
  • Develops and monitors project metrics to evaluate project performance.
  • Participates in the evening and weekend on-call rotation.
  • Ensures meeting account service level agreements and takes ownership of incident resolutions.

What we're looking for

  • 6 years or more experience managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through a full project management life cycle, with 3 or more years of Medicaid or Medicare experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge in project management methodology such as PMBOK
  • Modern understanding of budget development, control and assurance methods, and project management software
  • Ability to translate broader program objectives of a program into clear and achievable project milestones 
  • Leadership to train, guide, and mentor the work of junior colleagues
  • Strong executive presenter who communicates ideas clearly 
  • Creative problem-solver who thrives on defining structure from ambiguity

What you should expect in this role

  • Remote position
  • 0-10% chance of traveling
  • Oncall rotation for managing system support
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
