As a Senior Security Project Manager at Gainwell, you will plan and coordinate all aspects of internal cybersecurity and information system-specific projects from initiation to delivery. Projects involve Cyber Security and Technology Integration, projects related to Platform/Infrastructure/Security, network, server, or software implementation and potential upgrades. Focus on delivering secure platform for Gainwell operations and assist in keeping security projects moving as Gainwell helps clients deliver better health and human services outcomes through technology and innovation.

Your role in our mission

  • Experience in managing internal stakeholders, auditors/assessors, 3rd party vendors, and contractors to set and deliver project expectations. 
  • Leads the planning and implementation of multiple Cybersecurity & IT projects.
  • Participates in facilitating the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables of routine projects.
  • Participates in developing project tasks and resource requirements.
  • Participates in developing, maintaining, and reporting full scale project schedules.
  • Provides knowledge and direction to less experienced staff.
  • Understands project budget requirements.
  • Understands the project timelines focusing on delivering milestones.
  • Creates and tracks project deliverables using MS Project/Agile PM Tools.
  • Possess creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Leads cross-functional team meetings to set expectations and create accountability.
  • Creates appropriate client interaction deliverables.

What we're looking for

  • 6+ years of experience managing complex projects, programs, or initiatives through a full project management life cycle, with 3-5 years of experience in managing security implementation/ remediation projects (familiarity with implementing Security and GRC tools such as Archer, ServiceNow, a PLUS and Identity Management tools and controls)
  • Familiarity with leading security frameworks and standards such as NIST 800-53, HITRUST CSF, SOC2 trust principles, ISO 2700X, etc. 
  • Expertise with project management Possess relevant Project Management certifications such as PMP, Scrum / Agile, SAFe
  • Modern understanding of budget development, control and assurance methods, and project management software 
  • Ability to lead and translate the broader objectives of a program into clear and achievable project scope and milestones that can be worked toward

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
