Your role in our mission
- Researches, writes, edits, and proofreads complex technical data for use in documents or sections of documents such as manuals, procedures and specifications to provide clients with information regarding technical areas in a less technical way.
- Determines the scope and timeline of new documentation projects in order to plan projects. Coordinates project plans, determines resources, etc.
- Interviews programmers, engineers, developers, and other technical personnel. Reads previous documentation and design notes, and uses computer based training or company technical products to gather and research complex technical information for use in complex documentation.
- Writes, organizes, enters and compiles complex online help files to support end users.
- Creates, compiles, and delivers complex system/software developmental documentation packages including, but not limited to narratives, logic diagrams, input and output samples, input preparation instructions, job setup information, etc., from technical project team inputs, system requirements analysis, system design specifications, technical system design, technical procedure development, configuration control requirements, test and training specifications, and programming notes.
- Assists in establishing style guidelines and standards for texts and illustrations to meet business needs.
- Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
What we're looking for
- Education & Experience – Bachelor’s degree or certification in programming, with a minimum of three (3) years of technical writing experience.
- Writing & Documentation – Proficiency in structured writing, document organization, and file management systems.
- Editing & Quality Assurance – Strong editing and proofreading skills, ensuring accuracy and clarity in technical content.
- Software & Tools Proficiency – Experience using Microsoft Visio for diagramming and process mapping.
- Style & Compliance – Familiarity with industry style guides and ability to maintain editorial consistency and standards.

The pay range for this position is $66,200.00 - $94,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
