Summary

The role supports the day-to-day operations of the department by managing cases from creation through recovery, validating third-party liability information, preparing legal and claim documentation, and ensuring cases progress efficiently through workflow. This position also provides training and operational support to leadership while maintaining professional communication with attorneys, court staff, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

 

Your Role in Our Mission

  • Support the supervisor in managing daily operational workflows, maintaining procedures, and assisting with day-to-day departmental functions.
  • Provide training, coaching, and mentoring to staff as appropriate.
  • Manage cases from creation through recovery, maintaining accurate notes and ensuring timely progression through the case management workflow.
  • Research and validate third-party liability, probate, and beneficiary asset information through document review and legal research.
  • Prepare correspondence, liens, claims, and related documentation to advance cases toward recovery.
  • Negotiate and resolve claim/lien settlements per contract guidelines, process disputes, and collaborate with attorneys and stakeholders.
  • Maintain professional communication with attorneys, court staff, healthcare providers, clients, and other counterparties, while prioritizing critical deadlines and analyzing case information from multiple sources to support revenue recovery.

What you should expect in this role

  • Must work 1-2 days on-site a week
  • Hours will be within the range of 7:00AM - 5:00PM EST, Monday through Friday
  • Must reside in NC

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
