Your role in our mission

  • Sales in State government marketsDrives sales of existing, new, and emerging products.
  • Oversees Salesforce for Business Development, providing reports and tracking, and identifying strategies to address deficiencies in pursuits to drive targeted revenue growth.
  • Develops marketing campaigns for current and new strategic products based on corporate goals.
  • Develops and writes new business proposals as an active part of the proposal team.
  • Supports the project portfolio administrative, governance, and migration efforts.
  • Accountable for operational performance metrics and overall business results associated with the implementation of solutions within the COB, and PI portfolio of solutions.
  • Client Engagement duties for commercial clients as needed.
  • Manages the Business Development Team that contributes to the successful sales, overall service delivery and satisfaction of assigned clients.
  • Specific responsibilities include achieving revenue and margin goals, enhancing and expanding client relationships, identifying and assisting with the development and execution of sales strategies, building and enhancing client relationships, and driving the overall Gainwell agenda within assigned clients.
  • Responsible for setting and implementing the strategy for commercial sales.
  • Ensures initiatives are aligned with corporate goals.
  • Sets objectives, benchmarks and goals for the BD directors.
  • Manages expense budgets for trade show and travel to ensure goals are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborates with peers and with other executives to establish strategic objectives and specific achievement milestones to move the organization towards overall goals.
  • Develops partnership opportunities; defines target growth goals and drives assigned functional area(s) toward achieving target growth goals.
  • Provides significant input into corporate strategic goals and initiatives.
  • Develops, negotiates and may approve contracts and other agreements with partners, vendors, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Significant involvement in M&A activities, including acquisition due diligence and integration.
  • Ensures highly productive relationships and partnerships on business and organizational initiatives.
  • Sets goal, monitors work, and evaluates results to ensure that departmental and organizational objectives and operating requirements are met and are in line with the needs and mission of the organization.
  • Participates in and nurtures broad networks of alliances with others to exchanges knowledge and information about learning and change in support of change initiatives.
  • Leads process-improvement initiatives that deliver financial targets.

 

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years related Healthcare business practice area experience required
  • 5+ years leadership, sales and business development with state government and healthcare technology services and healthcare experience required
  • Forward thinking in developing and driving new product design that drives strong value, considering financial model, competitive environment and future landscape
  • Drives the delivery of solutions within functional area(s) to support internal and external customers and works closely with other executives to drive cross-functional solutions

 

What you should expect in this role

  • This role is 100% remote with up to 40% travel possible.

 

The pay range for this position is $129,200.00 - $184,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
