Play a critical part in ensuring Gainwell is meeting our clients’ objectives in important areas.


  • Establish overall product testing strategy
  • Define the scope of all types of product testing in releases and patches
  • Provides support to testers to define scenarios
  • Define and review scope of testing and data requirements
  • Establish testing timeline for each release and manage testing timeline
  • Establishes performance testing strategy
  • Plan for today (what is the best we can do today) and the future
  • Determine performance data strategy (where will the data come from), and define source and timeline
  • Timing of script development/updates, dependencies, and define the timeline
  • Review root cause analysis of defects for each sprint
  • Lead team to continuous improvement based on RCAs
  • Responsible for quality testing of product releases and patches
  • Ensure end to end testing of product releases and patches
  • Determine resource assignments and ensure deliverables are met, and provides input to staffing
  • Escalate risks to address the impact and establish a program acceptable remediation
  • Provides support to SM's reviewing module test cases to ensure teams are testing comprehensively and sufficiently
  • Provides support to Regression Lead on test case review to ensure full end-to-end system testing is happening, cross module integration is tested
  • Analyzes and selects testing tools which fully support our needs (performance/security)
  • Manage variances, risks and escalations
  • Coach and develop the testing team
  • Define strategy for testing traceability
  • Audit deliverables and the compliance to test procedures,
  • Plans and work instructions for the project and identify remediation for variances
  • Ensure meaningful testing and defect metrics are defined, gathered and reported


What we're looking for


  • 10 or more years of IT leadership or supervisory with some experience in a Testing Lead role.
  • Experience working with various testing methodologies, best practices and testing standards in an Agile environment.
  • Healthcare or insurance experience us a MUST.
  • Previous experience with resource management, and strong presentation and interfacing skills with team members and clients.
  • Exceptional in understanding requirements, design specifications, and developing testing strategy to perform ambiguity/risk analysis, establish testing priorities/scope, develop/review test plans, select test design techniques and develop testing metrics collection plan.

The pay range for this position is $126,500.00 - $158,100.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
