Summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking an execution-driven Vice President of Artificial Intelligence (VP AI) to lead the development, implementation, and scaling of AI solutions across its healthcare technology platforms. This role focuses on delivering impactful AI technologies, including Generative AI (GenAI), that improve healthcare outcomes, optimize operations, and align with organizational goals.
Your role in our mission
- Translate organizational objectives into actionable AI strategies and deliver scalable, results-oriented solutions.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of AI technologies, including GenAI models for applications such as claims processing, documentation automation, and customer support tools.
- Build and manage a high-performing team of AI engineers, data scientists, and product managers, ensuring accountability and alignment with project timelines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into Gainwell’s existing systems and ensure their operational success.
- Monitor AI project performance and lead continuous improvement efforts to meet evolving client needs and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all AI implementations comply with HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare standards, prioritizing data security and ethical practices.
- Drive efficiency and cost-effectiveness by identifying opportunities to streamline workflows and processes using AI technologies.
What we're looking for
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in AI/ML, with at least 7 years in leadership roles focused on implementing and scaling AI solutions.
- Demonstrated success in delivering AI products in healthcare or other regulated industries.
- Expertise in integrating AI technologies, including GenAI, into complex systems and ensuring their operational viability.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to align AI initiatives with business priorities.
