Summary

Responsible to ensure that the delivery of Pharmacy implementation projects meets contractual specifications.  Shapes and drives strategies to ensure that company's delivery model remains a competitive differentiator through expert talent, implementation and unparalleled quality. Leads the company's key client implementation initiatives through our global delivery networks with a focus on ensuring quality and consistency of delivery to our clients.   Leads cutting edge capability areas in service of client and internal implementation efforts.

Your role in our mission

  • Shapes project/program management vision and strategic direction for a major segment of the technology business within the organization. Collaborates with industry verticals, support and offerings to support the vision and drive results.
  • Creates strategies to establish business in new markets or in current accounts.
  • Oversees the execution of program offerings and project plans, schedules, budgets and deliverables. Ensures access and availability of resources for projects, defines and assigns major project roles. Monitors program/projects from initiation through delivery.  Identifies gaps in strategy across teams and works with leaders and teams across the organization to improve and or redefine processes for result. 
  • Responsible for achievement of overall financial and performance objectives of programs/projects. Monitors financial indicators and budget variances and determines course of action to achieve program objectives as appropriate. Oversees legal, contractual and customer processes to ensure compliance with agreed upon requirements. Ensures compliance with global or country specific requirements.
  • Oversees major proposal efforts. Identifies, pursues and participates as lead or co-negotiator with clients, sub-contractors and vendors to win and/or maintain business. 
  • Develops and maintains productive relationships with key clients, stakeholders and technology partners to facilitate cross-organizational communications, coordination and transparency.
  • Partner with our Engineering organization to support a strong technology foundation for our Pharmacy platform, driving innovation through applying modern, cloud-native, architecture principals, AI/ML, and the latest healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7)
  • Leverages across the organization to develop client feedback mechanism. Assesses feedback and incorporates change as appropriate into future programs. Identifies and determines global implications of program parameters and redefines, redesigns or revises as appropriate to increase customer responsiveness and satisfaction.
  • Reviews and is responsible for the organization-wide integration of consistent project management methodologies and terminology.
  • Directs overall personnel activity of the area which may include directors and senior and specialized personnel regarding staffing, retention and compliance. Ensures department resources are properly allocated. Maintains open communication between employees and management, with direct intervention as appropriate.
  • Directs, manages, develops and oversees budget; ensures activities are appropriately funded, coordinated and managed according to the guidelines/constraints of resource allocations. Oversees and manages expenditures related to business/accounts. Balances cost savings with needs of the department.

What we're looking for

  • Fifteen or more years in a supervisory or management capacity included.
  • Experience working with a product and services delivery in a global environment.
  • Experience working in a global organization of size, scope and complexity.
  • Experience working with management implications of various forms of financial data and contracts/service agreements.
  • Experience and working knowledge of modern, cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred), modern software architecture principles, and healthcare interoperability frameworks/standards for connecting with payers, providers, and pharmacy networks.
  • Experience with large-scale cloud migrations for legacy PBM systems.
  • Five or more years of experience with Medicaid and MCO processes, with five or more years in PBM implementation.

  • This position is 100% remote with up to 15% travel annually.

The pay range for this position is $160,000.00 - $228,600.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
