Summary
Provides strategic leadership and direction to strengthen company position as a technology leader in the marketplace. Analyzes the technology marketplace trends and best practices, including client solutions and product vendors. Advises senior executives on critical Information Technology (IT) trends and guides strategic investment in technology that helps to solve business problems. Coordinates and drives technology programs at the offering level. Develops and promulgates a technology strategy that supports the innovation portfolio.
Your role in our mission
- Shapes company vision and strategic direction for technology. Supports vision definition, technology direction, strategy and requirements for the organization. Owns and manages information technology strategy and investment including evaulation and incorporation of technology acquired through mergers and acquisitions. Dispenses technical advice, guidance, direction and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures.
- Works with operational business organizations to select and introduce new technologies, prioritize product development initiatives, maintain industry leadership, and expand customer base.
- Interacts with information systems users, offering portfolio manaement, business management, supply chain, vendors, and strategic alliance partners to drive client value.
- Directs research and development, offering life cycle management and product development efforts, and performance management functions for a major segment of the technology business or for infrastructure offerings. Directs the analysis of purchased systems, hardware and software, or the internal design and development of hardware and software systems.
- Establishes and coordinates responsibilities and procedures among subordinate organizations supporting all business units in technology matters. May specify new products, processes, and standards to support corporate strategies including the interpretation and application of broad policy guidelines.
- Promotes the interface and control of the organization's present technology and the dissemination of technological information throughout the organization.
- Directs, manages, develops and oversees budget; ensures activities are appropriately funded, coordinated and managed according to the guidelines/constraints of resource allocations. Balances cost saving measures with needs of department.
- Directs the personnel activity of the unit which may include managers and highly technical, specialized personnel. Ensures department resources are properly allocated. Works closely with other teams and senior executives to drive technical strategies throught the organization.
What we're looking for
- Master's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Twenty or more years of related experience in the Information Technology industry, working with multiple platforms, products, hardware and software.
- Fifteen or more years in a supervisory or management capacity included.
- Experience working in a global organization of size, scope and complexity.
- Experience working in a technology and/or services intensive business.
- Experience working with the management implications of various forms of financial data.
- Experience working with cutting-edge technologies, business development, product life-cycle planning, and delivery of information technology systems.
What you should expect in this role
- This opportunity is 100% remote within the United States with opportunity to travel for work up to 30% annually.

The pay range for this position is $168,000.00 - $240,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
