Summary

We are considering all levels of Application Developers with .NET C# experience to join our Product Engineering organization. We are seeking developers who currently reside in Puerto Rico (but will work remotely from home). Develop your career as you support Gainwell’s focus on creating innovative, purpose-built technologies and solutions to deliver better health and human services outcomes.

Design, implementation, and maintenance of multi product modules/sub-systems to ensure that business needs are met.
Assists in outlining new product/service business case justification to ensure that proposed solution is capable of delivering articulated business benefits to clients.
Participates in product design meetings with management, other developers and cross-functional technical teams to ensure that product development adheres to client specifications and is consistent across various units.
Participates in determining standards and best practices within area of product expertise. Investigates matters of significance discovered by quality assurance and product support to ensure that appropriate solutions are developed to address current and potential problems.
Provides insight and advice to customers concerning applicability of specific complex products/technologies.
Participates in tests and leads product launches into new and existing markets to ensure that product meets business needs.
Works with clients during requirements definition to ensure that business needs can be met; works with vendors and operations groups on interoperability testing.
Researches and understands the business environment including, target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues to ensure that product marketing strategies address relevant issues effectively.

Job Functions:

Codes, tests, documents and implements programs according to the specifications provided.
Provides moderately complex to complex technical and production support to end-users.
Participates in creating unit and other test plans for assigned programming tasks.
Assists with analyzing and writing program specifications.
Assists in designing new programs of routine complexity and for basic enhancements to existing programs.
Recommends changes to client software based on information such as client feedback, language changes and new technology.

What we're looking for

3 to 10 years of Full Stack Software Development experience working with client enterprise products, services and strategies, technical products, vendors, families of technologies, and product configurations/design/integration
Health and human services domain experience is a plus but not required.
Experience with a combination of any of the following: ASP.NET, C#, WCF, JavaScript framework, RestAPI, NET Core, SQL Server, Oracle, Cloud foundation concepts (AWS or Azure), other Microsoft technologies (.Net framework), QNXT and/or Agile
Expertise in of technology architecture, the product development life cycle, cloud technologies, software as a service (SaaS) and product and platform configurations
Expertise using/manipulating relational databases, event subscription-based communication, and software development skills between modules

The pay range for this position is $70,000 - $130,000 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
