Under general direction, helps provide application customization based on customer requirements. Contributes to the company's success through excellent customer service and meets or exceeds performance objectives. Performs assigned technical duties with minimal supervision. Ensures that all required project documentation, approvals, and transmitted references are complete as required during the project life cycle.

Your role in our mission

Apply your skills to support Gainwell as we help clients deliver better health and human services outcomes.

Provides support of existing systems by troubleshooting issues and working with client and vendor to provide timely resolutions.
Provides design expertise in support of development team efforts to provide flexible reusable components to increase cost effectiveness. Analyzes, designs and modifies applications and suites of applications to ensure satisfaction of customer specifications.
Assists in developing technical documentation; participates in test-plan development, integration and deployment.
Defines and develops project requirements, functional specifications and detailed designs of application solutions for clients using appropriate development methodologies and industry standards.

What we're looking for

Unix/Linux scripting knowledge required, with at least 3 years’ experience
Experience using relational databases, Oracle and SQL Server, with complex SQL query statements, required with at least 3+ years’ experience
Mainframe and Cobol knowledge a plus
Web development knowledge a plus, with basic understanding of C#, Java Script, HTML, CSS, AJAX
MicroStrategy and/or Informatica ETL knowledge a plus

What you should expect in this role

Maintain confidentiality and comply with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
Requires the ability to work on an “on call” basis during non-work hours.
All USA locations will be considered including remote.
Work on Eastern Time hours.

The pay range for this position is $59,500.00 - $85,000.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
