The Professional Trainer is responsible for the design, delivery, and continuous improvement of provider training programs; conduct needs assessment, executes training, develops reinforcements, and evaluate

Your role in our mission

  • Provide education via onsite, telephone, and / or via the web to our State client and provider community
  • Work collaboratively with the client and internal resources to develop training and content materials
  • Assessing the need for certain types of provider training based on quality call monitoring reviews
  • Implementing client and provider training programs, making changes as needed to improve training courses and provider experiences
  • Evaluate whether the training program is having a positive impact on the overall

What we're looking for


  • Thorough knowledge of adult learning techniques.
  • Ability to assess adult learning and development.
  • Standard and creative writing skills.
  • Engagement and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to organize and manage time effectively.

What you should expect in this role

  • Hybrid
  • No more than 25 - 50% of travel
  • May conduct provider visits
  • Prefer Maine or local candidate
  • As part of the interview process, must prepare and present a training topic of your choice via MS Team or Zoom

The pay range for this position is $51,700.00 - $73,800.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
