Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Data Analytics Infra team at Gainwell Technologies and support building market-leading products. The analytics group is responsible for the design and deployment of analytics platforms and solutions to support Gainwell clients. We are looking for a cross-functional AWS developer with automation background. In this role, you will work with AWS using Agile/Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies to plan, test and deploy AWS infrastructure to support the organization’s analytic goals & vision.
Your role in our mission
Essential Job Functions
- Work collaboratively to develop, test and deploy infrastructure on AWS to support infra resources for analytic workloads (Databricks).
- Develop and support CI/CD infrastructure as code (IaC) pipelines for cloud environment using GitHub Action.
- Knowledge to infra testing framework like Terratest or native Terraform testing framework etc.
- Contribute to developing proof-of-concept use-cases as necessary.
- Automate repeatable tasks and create efficiencies in the workflows.
- Document and champion good engineering practices within product development teams.
This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.
What we're looking for
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related area, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant experience (4 years for Associate Professional).
- 4 years of relevant experience on AWS and IaC tool (Terraform), 2+ years’ experience in using ECS and EKS infrastructure on AWS to support pipelines and monitoring tools like Dynatrace etc..
- 3+ years’ experience deploying infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, Dev-ops practices, CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Github Actions).
- Familiarity with AWS-native tools such as Lambda, S3, RDS, Glue/Spark, Redshift, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, API Gateway, EKS, ECS etc.
- Expertise with coding in one or more of the following: Node.JS, Python 2.x/3.x, Unix, awk, sed, Typescript.
- Familiarity with cloud security
- AWS Solution Architect – Associate certification preferred
Preferred Qualification
All items in Basic qualification plus –
- Familiarity with muti-cloud and Databricks and OKTA.
- Familiarity with AWS-native security, WAF rules,
- AWS Concepts: S3, Glue, Athena, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, VPC, Subnets, Transit Gateways, Workspaces
