Accounting Manager

Summary

The Senior professional accountant will provide support for the Controllership division and has a significant role in the month-end close process. This position will support many aspects of the accounting function and requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Successful candidates will be presented with opportunities to grow within the company.

Your role in our mission

• Journal entry preparation with supporting documentation.
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations.
• Manage month end close.
• Research variances in the GL and prepare explanations for the General Ledger Manager.
• Ensure compliance with established SOX processes.
• Other special projects as needed.
• Problem-solving where the development of new solutions, methods, systems will result in a major impact on the company’s success.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency Implement recommendations and see projects through to completion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Comfortable working under the pressure of deadlines.
• Ability to follow directions and procedures accurately and logically; to organize facts and figures; apply basic arithmetic.
• Conduct meetings to negotiate, explain, persuade, or present information individually and with a team.

What we're looking for

• CA or CMA (ICWA) Qualified . 
• 5-7 years of Accounts and finance experience in an IT environment.
• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconsilation.
• Experience in General Ledger.
• Experience in SAP module

Preferences to candidates with:

• Healthcare domain (Medicaid or Medicare).
• Ability to start at short notice.
