Advisor Application Architect

Summary

We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Finance Functional Consultant with strong expertise in full lifecycle implementation, upgrades, and production support of PeopleSoft Financials applications. The ideal candidate will have in-depth functional knowledge across core finance modules, strong business process understanding, and hands-on experience in integrations, data migration, and user enablement. This role requires active engagement with business stakeholders, solution design leadership, and guidance through ERP best practices. Work independently as well as with team on PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2 application with People Tools 8.56 or higher tools version

Essential Job Functions

Project Lifecycle Management
Lead and support full lifecycle PeopleSoft Financials upgrades, rollouts, and maintenance projects.
Participate in all phases of the project lifecycle including:
Requirement Gathering
Solutioning
Conference Room Pilots (CRP)
System Configuration
Functional & Integration Testing
User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
Data Conversion & Migration
Training
Cutover Planning
Production Support
Functional Expertise
Provide functional support across PeopleSoft Finance modules:
Billing (BI)
Accounts Receivable (AR)
Accounts Payable (AP)
Asset Management (AM)
General Ledger (GL)
Project Costing (PC)
Perform functional troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Configure modules based on business requirements and best practices.
Define and document functional requirements for:
Customizations
Interface development
Upgrades & Enhancements
Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft PUM (PeopleSoft Update Manager) upgrades.
Conduct impact analysis and fit-gap assessments for new features and patches.
Guide customization efforts and system enhancements.

What we're looking for

Integration & Data Management
Lead module integrations and ensure seamless cross-functional system flow.
Oversee legacy data migration, data uploads, and reconciliation.
Support interface design and development coordination with technical teams.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity during cutover and post-production.
Documentation & Training
Prepare functional design documents (FDD), configuration documents, and test scripts.
Develop training materials and conduct end-user training sessions.
Provide post-go-live production support and knowledge transfer.

Business & Stakeholder Engagement
Conduct business requirement discussions with stakeholders.
Perform business process analysis and design high-level solution architecture.
Recommend ERP implementation and support best practices.
Act as a trusted advisor to business users

Strong PeopleSoft Financials functional experience.
Proven experience in full lifecycle implementation projects.
Expertise in BI, AR, AP, AM, GL, and Project Costing modules.
Hands-on experience with PeopleSoft PUM upgrades.
Hands-on experience of ITIL framework and processes
Strong integration and interface design experience.
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
Ability to lead workshops and guide cross-functional teams
