Here are the details on this position.This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

ETL Tester ensures the quality and reliability of data-driven products, with a primary emphasis on ETL testing and data analytics. The role involves developing robust test strategies and plans covering functional, performance, and data integrity aspects. Responsibilities include validating data transformations and outputs for accuracy and consistency, building and maintaining test scripts for ETL processes, and analysing test results to identify database impacts, bugs, and usability issues. 


Key responsibilities include:
•    Develop and execute SQL scripts for database testing (6-9 years of experience is required).
•    Perform ETL testing and apply knowledge of data warehouse concepts (3-4 years preferred).
•    Practical exposure to Pyspark or Python programming.
•    Understand and apply data analytics methodologies to support testing objectives.
•    Validate data ingestion processes and perform data-centric testing across systems.
•    Collaborate with SMEs, Business Analysts, and Data Analysts to identify key data elements and recommend improvements.
•    Manage and analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to identify gaps or issues in business controls.
•    Review and validate test cases, defect logs, and test execution results.
•    Partner with engineering and product teams to define test strategies and build automation frameworks.
•    Leverage Copilot skills for AI-assisted test case generation.
•    Execute smoke and regression testing to ensure system stability.
•    Work with test management and bug tracking tools like Azure DevOps (ADO), TFS, JIRA, or similar platforms.

What we're looking for

•    Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
•    Prior experience in the US Healthcare domain is a strong advantage.
•    Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and practices, with solid understanding of SDLC and STLC.
•    Demonstrates the ability to work independently, requiring minimal supervision in day-to-day tasks.
•    Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with customers, support teams, and management.
•    Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
•    Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
•    Capable of handling multiple assignments simultaneously and adapting quickly to changing priorities.
•    Hands-on experience with relational and OLAP databases.
•    Utilise API testing tools such as Swagger, Postman, and SoapUI understanding of API automation frameworks.
•    Familiarity with Unix shell scripting.
•    Working knowledge or experience with Databricks.
•    Skilled in  AWS cloud services (AWS is the primary cloud platform for this role; Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus but not mandatory).
