Your role in our mission
- Conceptualizes, builds, develops and enhances a client's analytic model. Queries databases and performs basic exploratory analysis to develop reports and presentations on unstructred and/or structured data Creates methods of obtaining data that can be used for data sciences; Identifies ways to improve current data mining for future recommendation to reduce manual manipulation of data.
- Be proficient in atleast 1 key areas, applies analytic methods and adds to problem domains
- ⢠Summarizes complex ideas by developing visual models to display insights to simplify user experience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelorâs degree in a technical discipline related to Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Psychology, or Data Analysis Master's degree in related field preferred.
- Typically 0-2 years of relevant experience in the area of statistics/analytics/machine learning
- Extensive knowledge of data science methodologies including but not limited to classical regression, neural nets, sequence analysis, cluster analysis, and text mining
Other Qualifications
- Extensive understanding of analytics programming languages (eg. R, SAS, SPSS, Python). Advanced understanding of analytics deployment architectures
- Extensive machine learning techniques and mathematical modeling skills
- good knowledge of data visualization techniques and software tools (eg. Spotfire, SAS, R, Qlikview, Tableau, HTML5, D3)
- Planning, time-management, project management and organization skills to balance and prioritize work
- Willingness to travel
Work Environment
- Remote/Hybrid Environment
- May require shift or weekend work- shift is unlikely, but weekend work is sometimes the norm
