OpenShift Platform Engineer

Your role in our mission

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Knowledge and experience with deploying OpenShift Container and managing cloud solutions in AWS/Azure.
• Defines and creates demonstration software and systems to showcase products and systems.
• Troubleshooting and provides answers to moderately complex customer inquiries concerning system software and applications.
• Tests user configurations for system compatibility. Coordinates the installation and maintenance of products/systems to ensure that the system is functioning according to specifications.
• Interacts with engineering groups to assist in the design changes to equipment. Tracks the progress and quality of the projects with accountability to the customer, project manager and management to ensure on on-time and smooth product launch for the customer.
• Troubleshooting and supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system installation, configuration, and maintenance, as well as working with OpenShift Containerization.
• Container and Orchestration Proficiency: Skilled in using containers (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes, OpenShift), with deep knowledge of OpenShift specifics.
• Microservices and Team Collaboration: Proven ability to guide teams in migrating microservices to OpenShift/OpenStack environments.
• CI/CD and Scripting Skills: Experienced in using CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Nexus) and scripting languages (Ansible, Bash, Python).
• Cloud and Monitoring Expertise: Extensive knowledge in AWS cloud platform management, including design, provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting, along with experience in centralized monitoring and logging solutions.
