Job Description
- Knowledge and experience with deploying and managing cloud solutions in AWS/Azure.
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles, best practices, and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2, etc.).
- Proficient in designing and supporting cloud environments, including IaaS and PaaS.
- Troubleshooting and supporting cloud infrastructure in AWS/Azure.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Terraform, etc.).
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits of cloud environments to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities and threats
- Implement and manage Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) solutions to continuously monitor and assess the security configuration of cloud environments.
- Develop and maintain processes for vulnerability management, including scanning cloud infrastructure for vulnerabilities, prioritizing remediation efforts, and tracking resolution progress.
What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in software engineering, information systems, computer science, or related field preferred
- AWS Certifications a plus
- 3+ years of relevant experience as a cloud engineer with following key skills:
- Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
- AWS Networking/ECS/EC2/Network/IAM, CLI, & best practices
- Systems administration – Windows or Linux
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or AWS Certified Security – Specialty are a plus.
