Summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cloud Analytics team at Gainwell Technologies and support building market-leading products. The analytics group is responsible for the design and deployment of analytics platforms and solutions to support Gainwell clients. We are looking for a Level 2/Senior Profeesional Release Management professional with strong cross-functional collaboration skills. An analytics background is a plus, but not essential.
Your role in our mission
Responsibilities
Lead Release Planning: Coordinate and manage release activities across teams, ensuring smooth and timely software deployments.
Maintain Release Calendar: Own the release schedule and work with teams to plan and track upcoming releases.
Manage Changes and Risks: Oversee change requests, assess risks, and create backup plans to handle issues during releases.
Support CI/CD and Deployment: Help define and follow best practices for CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and rollback processes.
Fix Deployment Issues: Quickly identify and resolve problems that come up during or after deployments.
Work with Stakeholders: Collaborate with product, QA, engineering, support, and business teams to align on release goals and timelines.
Communicate Clearly: Share regular updates and release status with stakeholders through meetings, reports, and emails.
Ensure Readiness: Coordinate with support and operations teams to make sure systems and teams are ready for each release.
Track and Improve: Define key metrics, gather feedback, and suggest improvements to make the release process better over time.
Participate in Agile Events:
Join stand-ups and planning sessions to stay aligned with upcoming work and release scope.
What we're looking for
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar related field.
• Minimum 12+ years of experience in release management required.
• Strong knowledge of development lifecycle, environment strategies and release process.
• Proven ability to manage major / minor / patch release schedules and environments.
• Strong experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD tools, and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Good experience in Programming Languages like Python, Java are a plus
• Analytics & Healthcare domain knowledge are plus point.
• AWS, Azure certifications are a required.
