SAP RAR Consultant

Summary

As a SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) Consultant you should possess good experience in designing, implementation, and support on SAP RAR solutions to ensure compliance with revenue recognition standards, including IFRS 15 and ASC 606, and optimizing revenue accounting and reporting processes. This role is strictly involved in the building, customizing & administrating the enterprise applications and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data.

Your role in our mission

Design and Implementation:

• Design and configure SAP RAR solutions to meet specific business requirements and industry standards.
• Develop functional and technical specifications for RAR implementations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business processes and requirements.
• Implement SAP RAR solutions, including setting up and configuring the system.

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with relevant revenue recognition standards, such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606.
• Develop and maintain accurate revenue accounting and reporting processes.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions related to revenue recognition and reporting.

Functional Knowledge and Expertise:

• Possess in-depth knowledge of SAP RAR functionalities, including revenue recognition, contract management, and revenue reporting.
• Understand the integration of SAP RAR with other SAP modules, such as Sales and Distribution (SD) and Financial Accounting (FICO).
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP RAR releases and best practices.

Project Management and Collaboration:

• Participate in project planning, execution, and testing.
• Provide regular updates to project stakeholders.
• Work independently and as part of a team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Liaise with business users to understand their needs and provide solutions.

What we're looking for

• Strong understanding of SAP RAR functionalities and best practices. 
• Experience in designing, implementing, and supporting SAP RAR solutions. 
• Knowledge of revenue recognition standards, such as IFRS 15 and ASC 606. 
• Experience with SAP SD and FICO modules. 
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. 
• 6+ years of overall experience in a similar role within a global organization, with a minimum of 4 years working with SAP RAR solutions.
