Summary
The Hybrid Azure & AWS Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining both Azure and AWS infrastructure that powers product demo environments. This engineer leverages infrastructure automation (Terraform/Bicep/CloudFormation), and GenAI services across both clouds to deliver highly reliable, reproducible, and secure demo experiences. This individual works closely with cross-functional teams and leads hybrid/multi-cloud demo implementations, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. This role is strictly involved in the development of the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development & demo and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.
Your role in our mission
- Architect, provision, and manage scalable demo environments using key Azure and AWS services, including but not limited to:
- Azure: App Services, AKS, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor, Log Analytics, Load Testing, Azure DevOps, Azure OpenAI.
- AWS: EC2, ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, IAM, KMS, CloudWatch, AWS Glue, API Gateway, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code for both Azure and AWS (Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation), supporting the complete environment lifecycle (provisioning, resetting, teardown).
- Integrate and operationalize GenAI services (Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock/SageMaker) to automate demo scenario enrichment, synthetic data creation, and dynamic storyboard generation.
- Collaborate with the Demo COE, Product SMEs, Infra teams, and Application Configuration specialists for scenario evaluation, enrichment, and orchestration of custom demo flows (UI mocks, third-party integrations).
- Implement and manage RBAC, secrets management, and feature flag administration using cloud-native identity and configuration services (Azure AD, AWS IAM, Azure App Configuration, AWS AppConfig).
- Apply best-in-class cloud monitoring, automated checks, ensuring all environments are audit-ready
- Execute and support automated reliability and load testing leveraging cloud-native tools (Azure Load Testing, Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray).
- Drive continual environment improvement based on QA gates, user feedback, and post-demo analytics.
- Serve as a hybrid/multi-cloud subject matter expert, leading integration and troubleshooting for cross-cloud demo flows, and mentoring other engineers in best practices.

- Integrate AWS GenAI solutions (Bedrock, SageMaker) for scenario automation, and real-time demo enrichment.
- Collaborate with Demo COE and Product SMEs to evaluate scenarios, and implement custom flows.
- Implement RBAC, feature flag toggling, and configuration management via AWS Systems Manager and AppConfig.
- Ensure environmental health with automated monitoring, alerting, and load testing (CloudWatch, AWS Load Balancer, X-Ray).
- Support automated QA gates, metrics capture, and post-demo knowledge management.
- Provide secondary support for cloud engineering (AWS Glue, Redshift, Athena) for ingesting, transforming
