Senior SAP FICO Consultant

Your role in our mission

Skills:

•    SAP R2R Expertise:

Comprehensive understanding of Record to Report processes within SAP.
Ability to design, configure, and optimize R2R workflows.

•    SAP FICO Proficiency:
Deep knowledge of Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules.
Expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), and Bank Accounting.
Proficient in Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), Internal Orders, and Product Costing.
Experience with integration points between FI and CO modules.

•    Technical Configuration and Customization:
Proficient in SAP configuration, including defining company codes, chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, and posting periods.
Ability to customize SAP modules to meet specific business requirements.
Experience with SAP enhancement techniques such as user exits, BAdIs, and custom reports.

•    Integration and Data Migration:
Expertise in integrating SAP R2R with other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD) and third-party systems.
Experience with data migration tools and techniques, including LSMW (Legacy System Migration Workbench) and BDC (Batch Data Communication).

•    Reporting and Analytics & Incident Management:
Proficient in creating and managing financial reports using SAP tools such as SAP BW (Business Warehouse) and SAP Analytics Cloud.
Ability to develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
Proven experience in managing parallel project implementations and production support activities, ensuring timely resolution of Incidents and Service Requests, prioritization of work, and adherence to SLA and ITSM processes.

•    Project Management:
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Experience with SAP project methodologies such as ASAP and Activate.
Ability to lead project teams and manage stakeholder expectations.

•    Problem-Solving and Innovation:
Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
Ability to drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions.

•    Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP GUI and Fiori applications.
Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments.
Basic understanding of ABAP programming for troubleshooting and enhancements.

What we're looking for

Good to Have Skills:

•    SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting and Reporting):
Strong understanding of revenue recognition principles and SAP RAR functionalities.
Ability to configure RAR for various revenue scenarios and compliance requirements.
Experience in managing contracts, performance obligations, and revenue posting.

•    Experience with SAP Group Reporting, including:
Group structure and consolidation units
Data collection and validation
Consolidation of financial statements
Intercompany elimination
Currency translation
Integration with S/4HANA Finance

•    Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following:
Commerce (B.Com), Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Management Studies, Engineering (any discipline with relevant SAP FICO experience)
•    Professional & SAP Certifications (highly preferred):
CA / CPA / CMA / ACCA, SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting (FI), SAP S/4HANA Management Accounting (CO), SAP Group Reporting certification or equivalent experience
