Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Functional Consultant specializing in the Hire to Retire (H2R) process with deep expertise in managing SAP HRM/HCM sub-modules and strong expertise in SAP CATS and SAP SuccessFactors integration. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end H2R processes, ensuring seamless integration between SAP S4HANA and SuccessFactors modules. This role is strictly involved in the building & customizing the enterprise applications and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application development & demo and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of SAP H2R processes, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Configure and support SAP CATS for time recording, approval workflows, and integration with payroll and project systems.
- Design and implement robust integration scenarios between SAP SuccessFactors and S/4HANA, including data replication, middleware configuration, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver scalable, future-proof solutions.
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, test scripts, and training documentation.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and solution design workshops with business stakeholders.
- Support data migration and validation activities during system transitions or upgrades.
- Monitor and troubleshoot interface errors, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
- Provide post-go-live support, including issue resolution, change requests, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in system upgrades, patching, and regression testing to ensure system stability and performance.
- Drive process standardization and automation across the H2R landscape.
- Stay current with SAP roadmap and innovations in HCM, CATS, and SuccessFactors to recommend best practices and new capabilities.
- adherence to SLA and ITSM processes.
What we're looking for
- Technical Configuration and Customization:
Proficient in SAP configuration, including defining company codes, CATS, BIB.
Ability to customize SAP modules to meet specific business requirements.
Experience with SAP enhancement techniques such as user exits, BAdIs, and custom reports.
- Integration and Data Migration:
Expertise in integrating SAP HR with other SAP modules (e.g., FI, SD) and third-party systems.
Experience with data migration tools and techniques, including LSMW and BDC.
- Reporting and Analytics:
Proficient in creating and managing financial reports using SAP tools such as SAP BW and SAP Analytics Cloud SF.
Ability to develop custom reports and dashboards to provide actionable insights.
- Project Management:
Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Experience with SAP project methodologies such as ASAP and Activate.
Ability to lead project teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Problem-Solving and Innovation:
Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving business challenges.
Ability to drive process improvements and implement innovative solutions.
- Technical Skills:
Proficiency in SAP GUI and Fiori applications.
Familiarity with SAP HANA and S/4HANA environments.
Basic understanding of ABAP programming for troubleshooting and enhancements.
- SAP Certifications (highly preferred):
SAP HCM (PA, OM, TM, Payroll)
SAP SuccessFactors (Employee Central, Time, Payroll, etc.)
