Summary

 

As a Technical/Process Writer at Gainwell, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our commitment to delivering better health and human services outcomes through innovative solutions. Working within our dynamic Customer Experience (CX) team, you will contribute to our Design, Develop, and Implement (DDI) and Maintain & Operate (M&O) projects by documenting processes, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring the highest quality standards.

Essential Job Functions

 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive process documentation and mapping for DDI and M&O projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goal.
  • Develop policy/procedure templates and write policies/procedures with consistent format and language, only in cases where company templates are not established.
  • Interface with workstream leaders and relevant stakeholders to create and audit policies and procedures documentation.
  • Write new technical documents and revise detailed process procedures, office work instructions, process maps, forms, etc. 
  • Create new and/or revise existing procedures to document policy-driven standards
  •  Review existing procedures and revise to align with departmental standard.
  • Create/maintain applicable progress reporting.
  • Utilize QMS and CMMI requirements as basis to interview and collaborate with subject-matter experts to produce succinct and effective documentation.
  • Ensure final written documents clearly and effectively communicate processes and are developed in accordance with applicable requirements (e.g., Company templates, stylistic/grammatical standards).
  • Communicate document and project status to program management staff, delivers related presentations, and assists in the document security classification process.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree or associate degree in any field is required, preferably in a business, communication, English or healthcare field.
  • Proven experience in process documentation, mapping, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and process mapping software (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart).
