Functional Test Engineer (US Healthcare, SQL)

Summary

We are looking for Functional Test Professionals with US healthcare background (claims) with 6+ yrs of experience overall. This role is strictly involved in testing the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to application testing and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information.

Your role in our mission

•    Participate in software product development and support projects by conducting comprehensive testing to ensure functional components meet business specifications. 
•    Contribute across all phases of testing, including test planning, requirement analysis, scenario identification, test case design, test data preparation, execution readiness, test execution, defect logging, and retesting. 
•    Support formal test execution phases for larger projects, including smoke, functional, and regression testing. 
•    Apply foundational knowledge of industry standards, software product suites, and regulatory requirements to perform functional testing, diagnose system issues, and develop integration and system test scripts. Configure test questionnaires and related materials as needed. 
•    Maintain accurate defect reports and ensure timely updates following regression testing.

What we're looking for

•    6+ years of experience in Functional/Manual Testing, with a strong focus on US Healthcare and Medicaid.
•    Familiarity with one or more of the following domains: Provider Management, Case Management, Member Management, or Financial Management.
•    Experience in EDI transactions is a plus.
•    Proficiency in SQL, ALM (preferred), and Defect Management tools.
•    Ability to write and execute Test Plans & Test Cases and effectively track defects.
•    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
