Summary
Gainwell is seeking a detail-oriented Website & SEO Manager to oversee the development, optimization, and performance of our WordPress-based website. This role will ensure our website effectively serves the US market by improving search rankings, enhancing user experience (UX), and driving lead generation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in WordPress development, search engine optimization (SEO), and user experience (UX) design, with a strong understanding of website analytics and conversion rate optimization (CRO).
Your role in our mission
Website Management & Development
- Manage, update, and enhance Gainwell’s WordPress website, ensuring functionality, security, and mobile responsiveness.
- Coordinate with design and content teams to implement new pages, update navigation, and improve website performance.
- Optimize page load speeds, mobile usability, and technical aspects of the site to improve performance.
- Troubleshoot website issues, manage plug-ins, and ensure regular maintenance and security updates.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Performance Tracking
- Develop and execute on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic.
- Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and content optimization to align with search intent.
- Implement technical SEO best practices, including structured data, meta tags, and internal linking strategies.
- Monitor website analytics using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO tools to track performance and recommend improvements.
User Experience (UX) & Conversion Optimization (CRO)
- Optimize site structure, landing pages, and navigation for better user engagement and lead conversion.
- Analyze visitor behavior using heatmaps, A/B testing, and user session recordings to improve UI/UX.
- Ensure website accessibility and compliance with WCAG and ADA standards for usability.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication
- Work closely with content, brand design, and digital marketing teams to ensure a cohesive online presence.
- Collaborate with designers, and marketing teams to implement new features and improvements.
- Provide monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations for continuous site improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing WordPress websites, SEO, and UX optimization.
- Strong understanding of technical SEO, page speed optimization, and structured data implementation.
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and SEO tools (Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and basic website troubleshooting.
- Experience in conversion rate optimization (CRO) and A/B testing for lead generation.
- Strong project management skills, ability to handle multiple priorities, and deliver on tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with US-based B2B or B2G websites.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Marketo, or other marketing automation tools.
- Basic knowledge of graphic design tools (Adobe XD, Figma, Canva) for website visuals.
