Summary
Gainwell Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Website Manager to lead the evolution of our digital experience. This role combines user-centric thinking, analytical decision-making, and hands-on execution to ensure our website delivers high performance, accessibility, and engagement. You’ll apply a strong foundation in web technologies, user experience design, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and technical SEO to continuously improve the effectiveness and usability of our digital platform

Your role in our mission
Website Development & User Experience
Manage and customize website layouts, templates, and visual components using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
Implement clean, responsive designs based on wireframes and mockups provided by the design team.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and alignment with brand standards.
Maintain site health, manage updates to themes and plugins, and monitor performance issues.
SEO, Performance & Analytics
Implement technical and on-page SEO best practices (structured data, schema markup, internal linking, etc.).
Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, and site performance using caching and code optimization techniques.
Monitor SEO and performance metrics via Google Analytics 4, Search Console, and third-party SEO tools.
Deliver regular reports on keyword rankings, crawl/indexing issues, traffic, site health, and behavior patterns.
UX, CRO & Accessibility
Apply UX best practices to implement responsive layouts, intuitive navigation, and accessible interfaces based on provided design mockups.
Conduct A/B and multivariate testing to improve usability and user task success (e.g., form completions, navigation flows).
Use behavior analytics tools (e.g., Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity) to identify friction points and optimize user flows.
Ensure ADA/WCAG 2.1 AA compliance through regular accessibility testing and remediation.
Martech & Analytics Integration
Integrate and maintain tracking for marketing and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo) via forms, events, and pixels.
Manage and configure tags through Google Tag Manager, including Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Google Ads tracking.
Configure GA4 for enhanced event tracking, user segmentation, and funnel analysis.
Documentation & Collaboration
Work closely with content, design, and digital teams to implement new features, updates, and campaign support pages.
Maintain detailed documentation for all website configurations, plugins, SOPs, and deployment procedures.
Support internal teams by providing technical training and guidance on WordPress usage.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Experience
8+ years of experience managing high-performance business websites with a focus on UX, SEO, CRO, and accessibility.
Hands-on experience customizing and maintaining WordPress websites.
Proven track record of improving site usability, speed (Core Web Vitals), and user engagement through data-driven enhancements.
Technical Skills
Proficient in HTML5, CSS3 (SASS/LESS), JavaScript (ES6+), jQuery, Bootstrap, and PHP.
Strong understanding of technical and on-page SEO, structured data, and schema markup.
Experienced with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and SEO tools (e.g., Ahrefs, SEMrush).
Skilled in A/B testing (Google Optimize, VWO) and behavior analytics tools (Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity).
Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and tools like axe and Lighthouse.
Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for working with web assets and collaborating with design teams.
Familiar with Git and version control workflows.
Familiar with MySQL and database management (phpMyAdmin).
