Summary
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of the daily rhythm that keeps our operations running smoothly. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with leaders and teams dedicated to improving healthcare access and outcomes for Louisiana Medicaid members and providers.
Your role in our mission
- Manage phone coverage, mail distribution, and front desk or reception duties.
- Provide rotational support across operational areas such as mailroom, claims intake, and office administration.
- Perform data entry, document imaging, and electronic record maintenance.
- Support leadership and functional teams with administrative coordination and communication.
- Schedule and prepare for meetings, drafting agendas, recording notes, and following up on action items.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding logistics, time tracking, and supply or inventory management.
- Research and resolve administrative discrepancies and route inquiries to the appropriate teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and solid multi-tasking skills
- Contribute ideas that enhance processes and improve overall efficiency.
What we're looking for
- Four or more years of administrative or clerical experience preferred—especially in healthcare, government, or business operations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Positive, professional attitude with a team-first mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Onsite position at our Baton Rouge office — 8440 Jefferson Highway, Suite 100.
- Flexible hours: Monday–Friday, within 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

The pay range for this position is $30,500.00 - $43,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
